Impacts of Employee Engagement and Workforce Productivity on Retail Companies

Employee disengagement has become a big concern for retail companies to increase productivity. In the United States, lose at least $96 billion in revenue every year. Using transformational leadership theory, purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was explore strategies needed by improve employee engagement and workforce From data collected using face-to-face open-ended interview questions with 4 business leaders located eastern region States who have experienced phenomenon; three major themes emerged. The primary that emerged were professional development, collaboration, work-life balance. Based on tenets leadership, findings indicated 3 strategic promote engagement, productivity financial stability. also reveal potential could use strategy stability, thereby improving quality life employees, economic independence, wellbeing local community.
